Bad Omen? June 6, 2006

Despite the “negative” reactions to today’s 06-06-06 date, I had a very lovely 8th anniversary with Southern Dad! We even got to go out to eat sans kiddos, which was actually heaven-sent, so pbttttttthhhhhh to the omen-schmomen stuff. The place we went was one of my absolute favorite places to go to down by the lake, and an extra added bonus – it was “Tropical Tuesday” (live band and loads of fun). It is hard to believe how fast eight years has gone by. I swear, I still feel like I’m the 16-year-old who’s the one of the only non-seniors at the senior field party up at the pavilion, trying to look all cool so the future Southern Dad will notice me. Boy, times have changed, because I sit here now in my oversized gray lounge pants and a pink nightgown with pictures of pajamas on it. I’m quite sure he still thinks I’m hot, though…wink wink. Y’all have a good night; I’m going to bed!
